Current Training Options

photogrammetry software. This two-day course includes a
combination of classroom material and field training.
This course covers:
● Photogrammetry fundamentals
● Data capture process
● Apps for capture flight planning
● Collecting data for mapping
● Factors affecting data quality
● Creating maps and models
● Pix4D core functions
No prior Mapping or Photogrammetry experience required.
This course is aimed at professionals who plan on using drones
for their photogrammetry capability (2D/3D drone mapping).
Attendees will learn to use Pix4D as a photogrammetry platform.

Prerequisites:
- Valid Transport Canada RPAS Pilot Certificate, or SFOC
- Drone with high-resolution camera (16MP+ recommended) (Rental available)

course provides an overview of confined space drones, operations
planning, safety rules, and inspection procedures. Students will
also gain practical experience with confined space drones – using
a virtual industrial inspection simulator to practice basic flying and
receive advanced training, and through piloting a real UAV at a
remote training centre. At the end of the course, students will fly a
simulated mission as their final exam in remote training to receive
their ASIPP license.
This course covers:Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of:
- Confined space drones
- Specialized equipment (ground station, goggles, FPV monitor)
- Camera, sensors, batteries, and telemetry operations
- Pre-Inspection: planning, preparation, and briefing procedures
- In-Field: required procedures and documentation (safety and contingency plan, flight plan)
- Post-Inspection: post-processing and reporting procedures
- Final Examination in Remote Training – ASIPP License
